Helen E. (Heffernan) Rochette 79, of 54 Stoneville Heights, died Saturday (June 7) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus, after an illness.

She leaves three daughters, Susan Dye of West Columbia, S.C., Joanne Gelardi of Worcester, and Denise Voelker of Nissequoque, NY; a step-daughter Donna Koski of Grafton; four sisters, Barbara Ryan of Natick, Grace Earley of Northboro, Mary Grenier of Tempe, AZ, and Ruth Traynor of Leicester; nine grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. A Stepson, Paul Rochette, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of William and Grace (Tisdell) Heffernan. She graduated from Auburn High School.

She worked at Drury Square Pharmacy, for many years retiring several years ago. After retiring she worked at Worcester Polytechincal Institute.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.

A Funeral will be held Tuesday (June 10) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church 189 Oxford St. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling Hours are Monday (June 9) from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to the charity of donor's choice.
