Howard B. Rotti, 74, of West Boylston, passed away peacefully Monday, July 3, surrounded by his family at the Rose Monahan Hospice House.

Howard and his wife Carol A. (Osterberg) Rotti celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 1st.%C2%A0 Loving father to Travis S. Rotti and his wife Lori, and Christopher T. Rotti and his wife Christine, and proud grandfather of Nora and Liam, he also leaves his brother Alfred R. Rotti and his wife Kathleen, his sister Karen J. Inderwish and her husband Patrick.%C2%A0 Howard is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, in-laws and friends.

Born in Clinton, MA to Walter P. and Dorothy M. (Howard) Rotti, Howard graduated from West Boylston High School where he played on the basketball team and ran cross country.%C2%A0 After high school Howard enlisted in the Navy and was a radioman on the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Howard was a CNC machine programmer and operator for various machine shops throughout Worcester County.%C2%A0 He was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Harold N. Keith American Legion Post where he enjoyed being active in the pitch, horseshoe and dart leagues and was very involved in the affairs of the Legion.%C2%A0 In his earlier years, Howard coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and enjoyed bowling, playing softball and fishing.

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 10 at Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston in West Boylston from 5 - 8 P.M.%C2%A0 A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, July 11 at the First Congregational Church, 26 Central Street in West Boylston at 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard's name can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
