Ira H. (Kuusik) Ehrenpreis

Ira H. (Kuusik) Ehrenpreis, 96, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester.
Ira was born in Tallinn, Estonia the daughter of the late Platon and Beate (Webber) Kuusik. After graduating from college, Ira worked in the insurance field as an actuary. She then became a homemaker, lovingly caring for her family. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester.

She was the beloved wife of the late Karl Ehrenpreis, who died in 2000. She leaves her only son, Peter Ehrenpreis of Vienna, VA and her granddaughter, Alicia Raft.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, November 30th from 11-12 Noon at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester to remember, honor and celebrate Ira's long life. A prayer service will then be held at 12 Noon at the funeral home, followed by burial next to her husband, Karl at Rural Cemetery, Worcester.
