Irene R. Anderson

WORCESTER-Irene R. (Aubin) Anderson, 86, passed away Sunday, April 19.

Her husband, Hilding L. Anderson passed away in 1991. She leaves three children, David L. Anderson of Macedonia, OH, Sandra L. Wingate of Little River, S. Carolina and Linda S. Harvey of E. Orleans; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; her brother, Joseph Aubin of Sterling; four sisters, Ann Richardson of Worcester, June McLeod of Worcester, Jean Savastano of Millbury and G. Grace Mowry of Whitinsville and many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Raymond, Richard, Ernest and Alfred Aubin and four sisters, Beatrice Provencher, Dorothy Siagh, Bertha Trottier and Geneva Belanger all predeceased her.

She was born in Sterling the daughter of Samuel and Mildred E. (Hastings) Aubin. Mrs. Anderson worked as head chef at the Lutheran Home for 25 years retiring in 1986. Previously, she worked at Smith Nursing Home and Worcester State College. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, April 25 at 10:00 AM at LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no visiting hours.
