Irene E. Quinn

WEST BOYLSTON-Irene E. (Kenary) Quinn, 85, passed away Saturday, February 7.

Her husband of 54 years, Francis J. Quinn passed away in 2002. She leaves her two sons, Francis J. Quinn of West Boylston and Paul J. and his wife, AnnQuinn of Holden; two grandchildren, Timothy and Meghan Connor and many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Francis R., James S., Paul J. and Robert F. Kenary all predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Stephen M. and Nora V. (Wrightson) Kenary and graduated from St. Peter's High School and Worcester School of Business Science. Mrs. Quinn worked as a payroll clerk for Rockwood Sprinkler Co. and Reed Prentice Co. She then worked and became the owner of Broder Tobacco Co. before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, where she was a CCD teacher for 18 years.

The funeral will be Wednesday, February 11 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, February 10 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
