Princeton- Jacob John Hamm Brisbois, 25, passed away tragically on June 19, 2023, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Jacob was born in Worcester on January 18, 1998, and was the son of Donna (Willard) Brisbois and John Hamm. He attended local schools and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School Class of 2016. “Jake” worked for many years in Princeton at Mountainside Market where he made friends with many of the people in town. For the last five years, Jake was employed as a team lead for the Leicester Walmart where he thought of his co-workers as his second family, and they felt the same.
Jacob was a quiet and gentle soul often being referred to as a “gentle giant” by his family. An enthusiast for anything with a motor and two wheels, he loved to ride his motorcycles and dirtbikes. He had a passion for photography and loved all kinds of animals, especially his cats. He was kindhearted and compassionate and enjoyed helping family, friends, and neighbors with anything they needed done.
He leaves behind many that love and will miss him dearly including his mother, Donna (Willard) Brisbois; his father, John Hamm and his wife, Suzanne of Boylston; his sister, Amanda Cribbs and her husband, Chase, their children, Rory and Maeve of Alabama; his grandmother, Sally Willard of New Hampshire; his aunts and uncles, William Hamm, Bruce and Brenda Willard, Kim and Matt Kennedy, Debra Willard-Parker and Ken Parker; his cousins, Dan, Kristine, Rich, Randy and Niki; and many close friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Claire Hamm, Marie and Norman Williams and Bradford Willard. He was also predeceased by his uncle Richard “Spence” Spencer.
Family and friends will celebrate his life with visiting hours on Saturday, June 24th from 12~3pm at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 in the funeral home.
