SALISBURY-James, “Jim” Carrigan of Salisbury,  formerly of Worcester, passed away Sunday October 12th, 2025 at Exeter Hospital surrounded by family. He leaves his two daughters, Charlene M. Keefe and her husband Tom of Worcester and Kathleen A. Carrigan of Salisbury; three grandchildren, Shaun Keefe, Tara Keefe and Courtney Knox along with several great grandchildren; two sisters Jeanne Ellis of Worcester and Cynthia Menchi of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his dear friend Rosemary Rooney. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Jean E. (Prue) Carrigan;  his son Kevin J. Carrigan in August 1988 and three siblings, Robert, Frances and Patricia. 

Jim was in born in Worcester the son of Paul and Helen (Seymour) Carrigan and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. Jim then served in United States Air Force.  Upon returning to Worcester he partnered with his father and learned carpentry skills leading him to open his own business. Years later he designed his own demountable office partition system. Once retired, he enjoyed traveling in his RV, spending time with friends and family, boating, fishing, hunting, golfing and loving life!

A Visiting Hour will be held Monday, October 20 form 9-10:30am at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. Burial with Military Honor's will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Inc at www.veteransinc.org of the the New England Lupus Foundation at www.lupusne.org
