James M. Jones Jr. 78 of Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center died Tuesday (Sept10) after an illness.
He leaves a son, John M. Jones of Worcester; three daughters, Joanne M. Jones, Justine M. Warren, and Judith M. Fish all of Worcester, five grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester son of James M. and Mary E. (Westwood) Jones.
He graduated from South High School.
He was an Army Airforce Veteran of WW II.
He was the Deputy Purchasing Agent for the City of Worcester at the former Worcester City Hospital and City Hall retiring years ago.
The funeral service and burial where private. There where no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 300 Barber Avenue Worcester 01606. Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. directed arrangements.
