James R. "Hawk" Lupo, 60, formerly of Worcester died Sun., Aug 13 in Somerset.
He leaves his friends and caregivers, Paul D. Bayrouty and his children, Michael, Brittany, Brendan and Kaitlyn and Gennara Sims all of Somerset. He also leaves many friends at the Dalton Nursing Home in Worcester. His best friend and caregiver, John Bayrouty died in 2005. He was born in Waltham son of, James R. and Alice (Murdock) Lupo. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.
Hawk was a landscaper for various companies in Worcester, before retiring due to illness. He was the ultimate Red Sox and Patriot Fan.
A Funeral Service will be held Thurs., Aug. 16, at 12:30 PM in Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Visiting Hours are Thurs. Aug.16, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. Burial will be Fri. Aug. 17, at 12:45 PM in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in remberance of John Bayrouty may be made to St. George's Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St. Worcester, 01604.
