James E. Mahoney

WORCESTER-James E. Mahoney, 49, of Worcester died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 21, 2017.

Jim was born in Worcester, a son of the late James and Josephine (Bettley) Mahoney. He graduated from South High School, attended Worcester State University and was currently a student at Career Step. Jim was a customer sales representative for Verizon for several years prior to enrolling at Career Step. He enjoyed painting and gardening, but most of all Jim loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by his children, Logan C. LeBoeuf-Mahoney and Keeghan L. LeBoeuf-Mahoney, both of Worcester; his beloved husband, Edward J. Hilow; his former wife, Heidi Sue LeBoeuf; two brothers, Michael Mahoney and his wife, Sharon of Oxford and Daniel Mahoney and his wife, Bebe of Rochdale; three sisters, Patty Rudzinski and her husband, David, Dianne Mitchell and her husband, David and Kathleen Cote, all of Worcester; and several nephews and nieces.


A Memorial Celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, May 27th from 10:00 until 1:00 PM at CALLAHAN, FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to Forever Home Rescue (www.foreverhomerescue.org), 106 Adams Street, Medfield, MA 02052, a cause dear to Jim.
