James J. O&%2339;Day

WORCESTER-James J. "Cuz" O'Day, 75, died Wednesday, March 3 at home. He leaves two brothers, Donald O'Day of Holiday, FL and Dennis O'Day of Cherry Valley; two sisters, Susan Finnegan of Holiday, FL and Marie Courtney of Worcester; several nephews and nieces including Susan Soffan and her husband James of Worcester.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Dennis and Edith (Wallace) O'Day and graduated from North High School. Cuz was a member of Local Union %2379 Metal Lathers and the Alhambra Council %2388 Knights of Columbus. He served in the Army National Guard.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 6 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10 AM in St. John's Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday, March 5 from 5-7 PM in the funeral home.
