James H. Santimaw

February 25, 1947 — March 28, 2022

HOLDEN-James H. Santimaw, 75, a lifelong resident of Holden, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Wilfred E. and Dorothy M. (Snow) Reagan. Jim worked in sales for over 30 years. He was a member of the Salem Covenant Church.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Charlotte A. (Oberg) Santimaw and two children, Leah J. Jodray and her husband Timothy of West Boylston and Ryan R. Santimaw of Worcester. A son, Scott K. Santimaw predeceased him in 2019. He also leaves two grandsons, who were the love of his life, Lucas and Charlie. He was also predeceased by his sister, Joyce Santimaw and a nephew, Todd Santimaw.

Jim loved gardening, playing golf, and watching sports especially the Patriots and Red Sox. He liked to entertain and have parties or barbecues, especially during the holidays and football season. He enjoyed watching his children play sports and coached football and basketball when they were young. Most recently, he enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports, play in the backyard, and laugh at their silly jokes.
