James L. Stuffle

West Boylston-James L. Stuffle, 77, formerly of Princeton passed away Monday, August 4th at UMASS Medical Center. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Lorraine E. (Balliro) Stuffle; two children, James M. Stuffle of Leominster and Lindsay A. Stuffle, her husband Nicholas Stabile and their children Francesca and Sebastian of Manhattan, NY. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of James H. and Myrl (Risley) Stuffle and brother to Judy Hogan, he spent many years in California before moving to Princeton in 1973 and then moving to West Boylston 2 years ago. He served in the USMC Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He and Lorraine moved to Massachusetts and Jim later graduated from UMASS Lowell. Jim was a production manager for 40 years, first for Foster Grant and then later for Fosta-Tek Optics in Leominster, retiring six years ago. Jim loved being involved in youth sports especially soccer. He was an assistant coach in Princeton for many years, and was involved with the soccer association. In his later years, Jim loved working outdoors and gardening. He was always willing to lend a hand to his neighbors, the church and his community. He was also an avid reader of history and spy novels. The Funeral Mass will be held August 9 at 11am in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours are Friday, August 8, from 4 to 6pm at Fay Brothers Funeral, 1 West Boylston St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army at https://easternusa.salvationarmy.org/massachusetts/worcester/
