WORCESTER-James E. Trudell, 76, died Monday, March 7, 2022 at UMass Memorial -University Campus.
Jim was born in Worcester, one of 17 children to Alfred and Ella (Dubois) Trudell. Jim worked at Johnson Steel & Wire for several years and St. Mary's Healthcare and Notre Dame Cemetery. His favorite time of employment was when he was custodian at Notre Dame Church. Jim's faith was very important to him, and he enjoyed participating in Mass.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ann Trudell and a daughter, Deborah Trudell.
Jim is survived by four sons, James E. Trudell, Jr. of Whitinsville, James P. Trudell of Worcester, David A. Trudell and Michael J. Trudell, both of Marlborough, two daughters, Theresa M. Trudell of Worcester and Jennifer E. (Trudell) Domenicucci of Marlborough, and his former wife, Gina M. Leduc of Worcester. He also leaves many grandchildren, a sister, Charlotte, a brother, Charlie and many nephews and nieces.
Visiting hours are Thursday, March 10th from 5-7 PM at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street. A Funeral will be held Friday, March 11th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:30 AM at St. John's Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery.
