WORCESTER-Jane K. (Lizotte) Gouin, 59, of 28 Barnes Ave. died Friday, Dec. 16.
She leaves her husband of 22 years, David J. Gouin; her son, Patrick D. Gouin and a brother, Arthur F. "Buddy" Lizotte, Jr. both of Worcester. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Arthur F. and Agnes C. (Cox) Lizotte and graduated from North High School in 1964. She then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology at Worcester Junior College. Jane worked as a medical technologist at the Fallon Clinic on Plantation St. Previously, she was a teacher's aide at Mt. View Middle School in Holden, a Co-Owner of O'Brien's Religious Shop from 1988-2000, and she also worked at City Hospital and Fairlawn Hospital. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Altrusa Club. Jane collected snowmen figurines, loved and embraced the Catholic Faith and had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She loved traveling to York Beach, and Lake Sebago, ME.
The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 from the CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 20 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
