Jane A. McCullough

West Boylston- Jane A (Shutters) McCullough passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2018 at St Francis Nursing home after a period of declining health. She was predeceased by her husband James P McCullough, her long time companion Robert "Bud" Swartley, her sister Juanita Crowther, her brother Lee Shutters and her grandson Michael J Passmore.

Jane was born on January 7, 1931 on a farm in rural Indiana to Elmer and Clarissa Shutters. She was a secretary/administrative assistant in various industries during her work years. She was an accomplished pianist and played and sang for family and friends.

Jane was able to retire early and enjoyed playing golf with her family and friends. She was know as a bit of a party girl and was always the consummate hostess. She considered herself part gypsy, and has lived in many different states. She enjoyed exploring new locations. She loved spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her brother Richard Shutters and his wife Connie, Her brother in law George Crowther, her sister in law Audrey Shutters, several nieces and a nephew. She also leaves her greatest joy, her sons, Mark Passmore; his wife Kay and their children Nataly and Joshua, and Gary Passmore; his wife Dawn and their children Scott and David.

Funeral services will be held privately and are under the direction of Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston.
