Jane M. Shoreys

WEST BOYLSTON-Jane M. Shoreys of West Boylston, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, after a brief illness.

She was born in Worcester, Jane was the beloved daughter of Louis “Nugy” and Estelle Galena.

Jane was a devoted wife to Peter M. Shoreys, who passed away in June 2026. Their love story began when they were just 14 years old. They married in 1964 and shared 62 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, happiness, and cherished memories.

Jane was also a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was known for her kindness, generosity, strength, and unwavering love for those around her. Through her warm smile and joyful spirit, she touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jane was a well-respected real estate professional throughout Worcester County for many decades. She built lasting relationships through her hard work and commitment to helping others find a place to call home.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (David Gallant) and Estelle (David Catanese), her most cherished grandchildren, Jack (Julia Kelley), Anthony, Ethan, and Sofia, as well as her brother David Galena, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.

She was also preceded in death by her son Aaron, parents, and sister Judith Katz, whom she now joins in peaceful rest.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm at Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston, MA. A private funeral service and subsequent burial will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

While our hearts are broken with her passing, we find comfort in the love, laughter, and beautiful memories she leaves behind. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find peace in knowing that her love will never leave us. She was deeply loved, will be profoundly missed, and will be forever part of who we are.
