Janet E. (Crilley) Dell'Olio of 951 Wachusett St. died Saturday, April 9 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a complication of a bone marrow transplant.
She leaves her husband of 41 years Dominic L. Dell'Olio, two sons David M. of Orlando, FL and Michael D. of South Boston, MA, two daughters, Lynne M. Elrick of Plymouth, MA and Diane M. Lanpher of Hubbardston, MA. She leaves one brother, Jerome E. Crilley of Austell, GA. She was also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren.
Mrs. Dell'Olio was active in business for twenty years, most recently with Commonwealth Bioventures, Inc. She wrote feature articles for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette for many years and was also a contributor to other publications. She was President of Thorndyke Elementary PTA and a member of the Board of the Worcester County League of Women Voters.
She was a communicant and Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of the Rosary church in Worcester and St. Mary's church in Jefferson. Jan was an active volunteer at Abby's House, The Mustard Seed and St. Ann's Outreach Program in Shrewsbury, MA.
The funeral will be Thursday, April 14 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 W. Boylston St., W. Boylston with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the funeral home.
