WEST BOYLSTON-Janice Avery (Girouard) Pizzotti, 62, of 10 Hawthorne Drive, died Tuesday, May 17 in U Mass Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Campus. She leaves her husband of 20 years, Vincent P. Pizzotti, three loving daughters, Patricia (Avery) Novak of W. Boylston, Kelly Avery Moniz, wife of Dr. George Moniz of Saunderstown, RI and Tracy (Avery) Mattison, wife of John J. Mattison of Worcester, three step children, Keith A. and Craig F. Pizzotti and Tara L. (Pizzotti) Novia all of Worcester, her mother, Anne M. (Matsen) Girouard of W. Boylston, a brother John B. Girouard of Plymouth, two sisters, Joan M. Greece of Lisbon, ME and Jeanne F. Akstin of S. Grafton, eleven grandchildren, several nephews and nieces. She was the wife of the late James Avery and was predeceased by her father, Alfred J. Girouard.

She was born in Bridgeport, CT, graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and attended Quinsigamond Community College. Mrs. Pizzotti was a customer service representative at Allmerica Financial. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Friday, May 20 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, May 19 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA, 01701.
