Jayne E. Cote

CHERRY VALLEY-Jayne E. (Chase) Cote, 84, of Cherry Valley, died Thursday, June 11 in UMASS Memorial Hospital. Her husband Arthur D. Cote, Jr. predeceased her in 1966. She leaves a daughter Rene M. Brooks and her husband Ernest, Jr. of Sanford, ME; a brother, William Chase in FL; a sister, Pearl McAdams of Leicester; many nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her twin brothers, Robert and Richard Chase and a sister Hazel Zdanovich.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest L. and Alice L. (Abramson) Chase. Jayne worked for Parker Metal and later at Woodbury and Company where she retired after 20 years. She enjoyed baking, feeding the birds and taking trips to the ocean often times with her niece Carolanne. Jayne was a wonderful mom and favorite aunt to all her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13 in LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faith's Cemetery.
