Jayne L. (Nowak) Edwards 79, of 289 Prospect St. died Tuesday, June 1, in the Community Hospice Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Her husband of 56 years, Valmore F. Edwards died in 2001. She leaves a daughter, Karen E. Younginger of Jacksonville, FL; three grandsons, Bill, Craig and Brett; a great-grandson; a brother, Edwin Nowak of West Boylston and two sisters, Alberta Maki and Othelia Paradis both of West Boylston; and nieces and nephews. She was born in West Boylston, daughter of Peter and Leokadia (Golasiewska) Nowak. She graduated from Major Edwards High School and Becker Junior College.

Mrs. Edwards was an accountant for Town Center Mall in Boco Raton, Florida, for several years before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.

The Funeral will be held Monday, June 7, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32257.
