AUBURN- Jean B. (Boyce) Abbott, 89, passed away Sunday, March 15 in the Oasis at Dodge Park.
Her husband, Alden W. Abbott died in 2009. Her sister, Barbara R. Boyce died in 2012. She leaves many close friends. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Raymond and Marian (Sistare) Boyce and graduated from Worcester State Teachers College. Jean was a kindergarten Teacher for the Worcester Public School system.
A Private Funeral Service was held in Notre Dame Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Friendly House at www.friendlyhousema.org or to the Massachusetts Audubon at www.massaudubon.org. Arrangements in the care of Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
