Jean M. Barrett

WORCESTER-Jean M. (Cronin) Barrett, 81, of Worcester passed away Saturday, February 28 in Saint Vincent Hospital. She leaves her husband of 61 years, Charles F. Barrett; a son, Robert F. Barrett and his wife Diane of Worcester; a daughter, Maureen J. Morrone and her husband Paul of Delray Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Hill, Anthony Morrone, Patrick Barrett, James Barrett and Michael Morrone; four great grandchildren, Preston, Sebastian, Madelynne and Kaylee; nephews and nieces. A sister, Barbara A. Porter predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of James A. and Florence E. (Donohue) Cronin and graduated from Commerce High School. Jean worked in various Worcester retail stores for many years. She was a wonderful wife and mother and she especially enjoyed being "Nani" to her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 4 from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston, with a Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours will he held the morning of the funeral from 9 - 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
