WORCESTER: Jean A. Breidenbach, 65, died quietly at home on, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, following a two-year battle with cancer.

Jean was a very talented and patient piano teacher in the Worcester area for over 30 years. She was very proud of the fact she had many students start with her in Kindergarten and stay until they entered college. She was also an accomplished church organist having played for Pilgrim Congregational church, St. Luke’s Episcopal, and the Armenian Church of Martyrs, all in Worcester. She also played at St. Albans in Harvard, Ma.

Jean held a degree in creative arts from Bradford College and a Masters in Communication from Phoenix University.

She was a dog owner for many years. Her dogs were spoiled and very lucky to have landed in her home. She rescued every dog she owned.

Jean was also a big part of the skating community in Worcester. She traveled to Europe with her skating group and enjoyed the camaraderie. When she could no longer skate, she was still involved by volunteering her time and bookkeeping expertise.

Jean leaves her brother, Willian Breidenbach and his wife, Melanie Gage. She also leaves her nephews, Daniel, Yeager and Peter Breidenbach. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Constance Breidenbach.

We also want to acknowledge and thank her good friend, Priscilla and Priscilla’s dog Jake. They gave Jean many happy days. Jean loved them both.

A private graveside service is planned. A memorial luncheon will be held at a later date.

Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, is directing the arrangements.
