WORCESTER — Jean A. Konneh, 82 of Worcester, MA passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018.
She leaves many to mourn her loss including her children, Francis J. Konneh, Hawa E. Konneh, Festus M. Konneh, Christopher F. Konneh, Christine M. Budy, Abraham S. Konneh, Robert K. Konneh, Emma Konneh and Esther H. Konneh. She also leaves her brother, William A. Kollie of Liberia and two sisters, Kiabeth L. Kollie of Detroit, Michigan and Deddeh Kollie of Liberia; 40 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of relatives including nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends in Liberia and the United States. Mrs. Konneh was born in Lofa County, Liberia, daughter of the late Gbama Kollie and Kiabeth (Vorgbor) Kollie.
She moved to the United States in 1995 and has been a longtime and faithful member of St. Matthew's Parish.
Family and friends are invited to honor, remember and celebrate Jean's life during visiting hours on Friday, October 19, 6-9PM at St. Matthew's Church, 695 Southbridge Street, Worcester. The Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 20th at St. Matthew's Parish.
Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
