MILLBURY – Jean C. (Gagnon) Moe, 82, died peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester. Jean was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Frederick H. and Beulah M. (Boyns) Gagnon. She graduated from Worcester schools.
As a young woman, Jean worked as a teller for a bank in Worcester. She soon met her future husband, Donald "Red" Moe and they married in 1961. She then became a homemaker and, also assisted Don with his antique business for several years. She enjoyed her pet cats and was an avid crafter. She was a longtime member of the Millbury Federated Church.
Jean was predeceased by her husband in 2011. She also was predeceased by her brother, Stanley and her sister, Barbara. She leaves her two sisters, Nancy of Huntington, CT and Edith of Mendon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jean's family on Thursday, December 5th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Lindquist-Lundin Life Celebration Home, 36 Butler Street, Worcester. Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main Street, Millbury. Burial will follow in New Howard Cemetery, Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Millbury Federated Church, 20 Main St., Millbury, MA 01527 or to the Dementia Unit, JHC, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609.
