Jean-Paul Cormier

WORCESTER
Jean-Paul "Gene" Cormier, 77, passed away Saturday, February 5.
He leaves a son, Stephen Cormier and his wife Maryjane of Ware; a daughter, Judith Ruland and her husband Arthur of Springfield; three sisters, Jeannette LeBlanc of Gardner, Claire Robichaud of Leominster and Gloria Belliveau of Fitchburg and nieces and nephews. A brother, Ronald Comier and a sister, Rachel Bois predeceased him. He was born in Gardner, the son of Joseph and Margurite (Savoie) Cormier. He graduated from Gardner High School and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Gene was a printer for the Arthur Chase Paper Company, prior to that he worked for the Colonial Press Company. He was a member of St. John's Church.
A Funeral will be held Friday, February 11 from CALLAHAN AND FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 AM in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St. A spring burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner. Visiting Hours will be held Thursday, February 10 from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Church, 40 Temple St. Worcester, 01604.
