Jean T. Zungola, 87, born on December 5, 1937, in New York City, passed away on April 13, 2025, at UMASS University, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and a deep love for family and history.
Jean was the daughter of the late Eleanor K. (Hartmann) and Eugene F. Trainor. She had a remarkable career as a secretary in the music industry, dedicating many years to Warner Brothers in New York. In her free time, she was an avid genealogist, immersing herself in the extensive history of her family. She was particularly active in the Mayflower Society, where her devotion to tracing her roots and understanding her heritage was a source of pride and fulfillment.
Jean is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Anthony Zungola, and their son, Marc Zungola, both residing in West Boylston. She was predeceased by her beloved parents and her sister, Anne Peterkin.
