Jeanette P. (Gadbois) Couillard, of 240 Belmont St. died Tuesday, July 8, in Saint Vincent Hospital, at Worcester Medical Center, after an illness.

Her husband, Edward J. Couillard died in 1995.She leaves a daughter, Mary-Alice DeCesare of Worcester, a grandson, Petty Officer Third Class Justin DeCesare of San Diego, CA and a grand-daughter, Laura DeCesare of Boston. A daughter, Eloise Couillard, a brother, Raymond W. Gadbois M.D. and two sisters, Helen Mathieu and Cecile Vigeant, all predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Romeo and Louisa (Grenon) Gadbois. She graduated from Commerce High School and Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. She has lived many years in Worcester and prior to that, she lived several years in Oxford and Shrewsbury.

She worked as a Nurse, for her brother, Raymond W. Gadbois M.D., for many years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Anne's Church and the Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association.

A Funeral will be held Saturday, July 12, from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. West Boylston, (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Church 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will in Mountain View Cemetery. Calling Hours are Friday, July 11 from5 to 8p.m. at the funeral home.
