Jesus M. Burgos, 66, of 1 Patch Reservoir Dr. died Friday, Aug. 19, in Saint Vincent Hospital, after a struggle with cancer.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Luzmila Burgos; his son William Burgos of Worcester; his daughter Alexandra and her husband, Doug Smith of Dudley, two grandchildren, Nicole Smith and Austin Smith both of Dudley and a brother, Jose Burgos of Rochester, NY. He was born in Puerto Rico, son of Jose and Maria (Rivera) Burgos. Six brothers, Urband, Victor, Luis, Hipolito, Guillermo, and Ruben and a sister, Lydia Burgos, predeceased him.

Mr. Burgos worked at Parker Manufacturing for 14 years. He came to Worcester in 1959 with his mother and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
