WORCESTER-Jesus Antonio Colon, 71, died Saturday, January 22, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Abonitu, Puerto Rico, son of Perfecta V. Colon-Padilla and Vincente Colon-Santiago. Jesus owned and operated his own painting company.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tomasa Ramos, four sons, Jesus Colon, Jr., Willie Colon, Christopher Colon and Jorge Colon, all of Worcester; 15 grandchildren, Yasmine, Kassandra, Thalia, Jaiyla, Hailey Lee, Willie, Jr., Ricardo, Gianni, Zavon, Jesus, III, Jorge, Jr., Christopher, Jr., Jairo, Jadis, Dante, and; great grandchildren, Jailila, Tatiana, Aniya, Isaiah, J.D. and Azaiah He also leaves eight siblings, Aida L. Colon, Angel M. Colon, Maria D. Colon-Flores, Jorge A. Colon, Luis F. Colon, Miguel A. Colon, Carmello Colon and Iris H. Colon and many nephews and nieces.
Jesus enjoyed fishing, cooking and painting and loved bringing Aniya to school and picking her up. He loved baseball and was a diehard Yankees fan. He enjoyed watching old movies, especially if his two favorite actors were in the; Charles Bronson and Clint Eastwood. Jesus was a humble man who loved his family more than anything else in the world.
Visiting Hours to celebrate his life will be held at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street on Wednesday, January 26th from 5-6:30pm immediately followed with a Special Remembrance Service beginning at 6:30pm.
