Jimmy Iglesias, 30, passed away after a long battle with liver disease on Friday, June 25, 2021 at St Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

He was born March 3, 1991 son to Sandra (Artiga) Ruiz and Cecilio Iglesias in Los Angeles, California. After attending Central Mass Academy in Worcester, he pursued his talent and love of drawing by designing tattoos. Jimmy was a walking canvas full of tattoos and piercings that told his own life story. He was best known for his charismatic and friendly personality, always lighting up the room he entered. Jimmy will be especially missed for his sense of humor and the ability to make anyone laugh at a moment's notice.

Jimmy had many hobbies that included sketching and drawing beautiful pictures, playing the guitar and listening to rock music (Korn being his favorite). He was also an avid fan of Star Wars and always had a special place in his heart for cats.

Jimmy leaves behind many that love and will miss him dearly including his mother, Sandra (Artiga) Ruiz; his sisters, Sandra Iglesias Rosado and Jenny Iglesias; his brother, Michael Iglesias; brother in law, Willam Rosado and nephews Angel Rosado and Caleb Rosado. Jimmy was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his father, Cecilio Iglesias.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jimmy's life with visiting hours Friday, July 9th from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Callahan, Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, A funeral service will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street, Worcester.
