SHREWSBURY-Mrs. Jinxian Wang, 80, of Huanggang, Hubei, China, and Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, December 31st, 2025. She was compassionate, selfless, and courageous until the very end. She is deeply loved by her numerous family members, all of whom were guided or raised by her care - her devotion to family and her pure heart changed each one of them for the better.

Forever remembering her is her husband, Mr. Jiaquan Xu, her daughters, Weiwei Xu and Weisheng Xu, and her respective sons-in-law, Jujiu Liu and Hongsong Chou. She is also deeply loved by her granddaughters, Mujun Liu, Emily Chou, Elizabeth Chou, Evelyn Chou, Yuqing Xu, and Yunyue Zhang. She is also cherished by her siblings, Wang Xianqiu, Wang Qunxian, Wang Zhihua, and Wang Laoyou.

Born in Huanggang, Hubei Province, China, Jinxian was the third daughter and middle child of Mrs. Xia Shouzhen and Mr. Wang Baichuan. From the very beginning, Jinxian embodied compassion and care, from youth a devoted daughter and sibling and in adolescence a deeply curious and insightful student. She attended the renowned Huanggang High School and Enshi Medical School before working as a medical doctor in a hospital in Luotian, Hubei Province where she met her husband, Jiaquan Xu. Jinxian later specialized as a pediatrician and brought comfort to countless young patients, and was both deeply appreciated and recognized by her local community. Even after retirement, she continued this exemplary care through raising her grandchildren with unwavering patience and love. She found joy through gardening, where every summer a field of lilies and peonies would bloom under her touch, and through cooking, creating both traditional and experimental Chinese dishes that comforted and nourished the soul.

Jinxian was the embodiment of compassion and tender care, and all those around her were both inspired and touched by what she brought. She was the heart of her family and will continue to live on in the teachings she has passed to the next generation, the bonds she has woven between people, and the cherished memories that will live on in all who were blessed to know her. Her family are immeasurably grateful for her guidance and love and glad that she may comfortably rest and reunite with her parents. Her legacy will live on with her family, who will never forget her.

Friends and Family will gather Sunday, January 4 at 1pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street Worcester. A Funeral Service and a time to share memories will begin at 1:30pm at the funeral home.
