Joan L. Pratt

WORCESTER-Joan L. (Dumouchel) Pratt, 84, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her home in Worcester.

She was born September 20, 1936 a daughter of the late Louis A. and Doris M. (Emmett) Dumouchel. After graduating from Commerce High School, she stayed at home to raise her four children before working at several local banks. She later retired from People's bank in 2001.

Mrs. Pratt leaves many that will miss her dearly including her two daughters; Gwen Pratt of Northborough and Lori Amico and her husband, Vinny, of Vinton, Louisiana, her daughter in law, Deb Pratt of Oxford, 10 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Owen J. Pratt, her sons; Randy J. Pratt of Florida and Garry P. Pratt of Oxford, and her two brothers; Ronald Dumouchel of Brookfield and Gerald Dumouchel of Fairfield, Maine.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Joan's life on Friday, January 15 with visiting hours from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the Callahan Fay and Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A short funeral service will begin at 3:00. Burial will be private at a later date. Donations may be made in Joan's memory to the American Cancer Society by visiting www.cancer.org.
