Joana Kyereh, 48, passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born in Ghana on March 21, 1968 daughter to Anthony Frederick Kyereh and the late Victoria (Nyantakyiwaa) Kyereh. She worked for many years in the bakery department at Price Chopper grocery store.
Ms. Kyereh was a parishioner at St. Joan of Arc Church, where she was active in the church choir and was also a member of the Executive Council and a church leader. A "mother to all" she will be fondly remembered for her contagious smile her love of dance and the many delicious meals she prepared for her family.
Besides her father, she leaves her beloved husband John K. Nyarko; two daughters Esther Boama-Nyarko and Antoinette A Ansong both of Worcester; One son John A. Nyarko of Worcester; One brother Michael A. Boateng of California; a sister Beatrice Owusu and her husband Maxwell of Worcester; many nieces and nephews and many God children.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, August 5th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester and again on Saturday, August 6th from 8:00am until 10:00am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
