WEST BOYLSTON — Joel Thomas Isgro, 29, passed away suddenly on March 8, 2019.
Joel was born in Worcester on September 18, 1989 a son of Sebastian D. and Paula M. (Hanrahan) Isgro. He graduated from Tahanto Regional High School Class of 2008 where he was a member of the varsity soccer team. Joel was a hard worker and loved landscaping and construction. He worked for many years at his family's company, Welmark Construction. He enjoyed cars, especially Volkswagens and formed many friendships through car shows and traveling. Joel also loved spending time fishing at the Reservoir, golfing with his brothers and visiting with his grandfather.
Joel had a big heart and would do anything for his family. He was a devoted father who was passionate about raising his sons. Joel had a great sense of humor, was fun loving and always up for an adventure. Whether it was road tripping with his family to Florida, spending time outdoors hiking and camping, or rooting on his favorite race teams at Lime Rock, he enjoyed every adventure and always made those around him smile.
In addition to his parents of West Boylston, he will be forever loved and missed by his children, Elliot Isgro and Landon Brien; his fiancé, Samantha LaBonne; two brothers, Matthew Isgro of Worcester and Jason Isgro and his wife, Ashley of Shrewsbury; a niece and nephew, Emma and Evan Isgro; his grandfather, Thomas E. Hanrahan of Winchendon; his god parents Paul and Ginny Menard of Kennebunk, ME; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Friday, March 15th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, March 16th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Burial will be held privately.
