John J. Adams Jr. 38, formerly of Natick died Sunday (July21) after a courageous three year fight with brain cancer.

He leaves his wife of 12 years, Amy K. (Gray) Adams, a son, Andrew J. Adams of West Boylston, his mother, Susan (Begley) Adams of Milford, his father, John J. Adams Sr. of Ashland, two brothers, Matthew Adams of Natick and Thomas Adams of Ashland, a sister Jennifer Adams of Ashland, his grandmother, Eleanor Adams of Roslindale, many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. He was born in Natick and graduated from Natick High School and attended Franklin Pierce College as a music major.

He was a 15 year veteran of the Ashland Post Office where he was a letter carrier. He was past president and vice president of his N.A.L.C. local.He enjoyed his family and friends, reading and music and sports.

The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday (July24) at 11a.m. in First Congregational Church 26 Central St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Tuesday (July23) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. (www.faybrothers.com)
