John E. Walsh

LEICESTER- John E. Walsh, 84, passed away on October 17, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital.

John was born in Worcester on October 3, 1938, son of the late Walter and Mary (McEvoy) Walsh. John enlisted in the United States Navy to proudly serve his country and upon his discharge he began a 43 year career as a machine operator with Anderson & Dresser Company. John enjoyed trying his luck on the lottery with Keno and scratch tickets and he also enjoyed time spent fishing. Most of all he cherished time spent with his family.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years, Patricia R. (Stuart) Walsh; his children, Christine Skorb of Leicester and Karen Flynn and her husband, Tobey of Beavercreek, OH; four grandchildren, Johnathan Skorb and his wife, Kate, Kimberly Skorb, Caitlin Flynn and Devin Flynn; four great grandchildren, Adam, Nora, Claire and Killian.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by a sister, Patricia (Walsh) Taylor.
