John F. Flynn

SHREWSBURY
John F. Flynn, 88, of Shrewsbury died Thurs., May 22 in the Autumn Village, Worcester.
He was born in Worcester, son of Michael and Mary (O'Reilly) Flynn. Four brothers, Edward Flynn, William Flynn, Daniel Flynn and Robert Flynn and three sisters, Katherine Carney O'Leary, Mary Albert and Mildred Ferrante predeceased him. He leaves a brother, Richard Flynn of Peabody; many nieces and nephews among them, his caregivers Maureen Dryden of Shrewsbury and Nancy Corcoran of Grafton and two children in the Worcester area, Ann Marie and Jay. He attended Worcester schools and was an Army Veteran of WWII.
John was a sales agent for many years in the Worcester area, prior to that he worked for the Providence and Worcester Railroad.
A Private Funeral Service will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. handling arrangements.
