John K. Foley

WEST BOYLSTON-John K. Foley, 73, of West Boylston died Fri., Dec. 19 in UMASS Medical Center. He leaves his wife of 23 years, Doris (Dickie) Johnson; five children, Kevin J. Foley and his wife Kathleen of Worcester, Patricia A. Foley of Portland, OR, Erin K. Jeniski and her husband Robert of Worcester, Scott A. Johnson of Roslindale and Kim L. Fisher of West Boylston. He also leaves four grandchildren, Michelle L. Lesniewski, Morgan V. Murphy, Brittany P. Murphy and Sarah A. Fisher and a great granddaughter, Mayda L. Lesniewski; three sisters, Joann Strandberg of Worcester, Elizabeth Boyea of Wellesley Hills and Mary McKinnon of Holliston; nieces and nephews. A brother, Martin J. Foley predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, son of Martin and Mary (Mahoney) Foley and graduated from Boys Trade School. John was a Worcester Firefighter for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He was also a master carpenter.
A Celebration of his Life and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
