WORCESTER-John A. Janulavitch, 97, passed away Tuesday, January 11 at the Saint Francis Home.
He leaves two daughters, Donna Janulavitch and Carol Gill; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. His daughter, Christine and his six siblings, Joseph, Ernest, Anthony, Anna, Pauline and Veronica predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Ronald and Pauline (Milerofsky) Janulavitch. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
John worked as a tester at Wyman Gordon Company for 35 years, retiring in 1983. A man of deep faith, he was a devout Catholic and a longtime member of Saint John's Church.
John's family wishes to express their gratitude to his neighbors, The Donahue Family and Juan for their care and compassion to him throughout the years. Also his family wishes to thank Father John Madden and Larry Trapasso for their friendship and spiritual guidance.
A Private Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Church. Entombment will be held privately in Notre Dame Mausoleum.
