WORCESTER-John H. Lynch, 61, died Thursday, April 14, 2022.
John was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late Robert P. and Dorothy C. "Dot" (Harvey) Lynch. He graduated from St. John's High School and Framingham State College. After receiving his degree in Economics, John embarked on a career with many challenging and rewarding pursuits throughout his life. Throughout much of his career, John could also be found on the weekends painting parking lot lines - a business he took over from his father-in-law. John had a broad skill set and wasn't afraid to try new things whenever an opportunity presented itself.
John leaves his beautiful daughters, Madison A. and Casey M. Lynch, whom he was so proud of, and their mom, Donna M. (Arminio) Lynch. He also leaves his siblings; Robert P. Lynch, Jr. of Worcester, Daniel J. Lynch and his wife Patricia of Holden, Maura O'Neil and her husband James of Shrewsbury, Matthew Lynch and his wife Sandi of Madbury, NH, Terence Lynch and his wife Cara of Westborough, Joseph Lynch and his wife Jessica of Worcester, and Saengwian Paengwan and her husband Dave June of Thailand. John also leaves 11 nephews and nieces, many aunts, cousins and friends, including his best friend throughout his life, Brendon Tivnan and longtime neighbor and dear friend Ray Tadry.
John enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard, tending to his annual vegetable garden and fishing. He loved sports and followed all of the New England teams faithfully. John also enjoyed reading and music.
Over the years, John's contagious smile and larger-than-life personality touched the lives of his many friends and family.
John's Funeral will be held Monday, April 25th from Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home with a Mass at 11:00 AM at St. John's Church, 40 Temple Street. Burial will be held at a later time.
Visiting Hours are Sunday, April 24th from 2:00 until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
