John F. Purcell

WORCESTER-John “Jack” F. Purcell, 73, passed away Wednesday, September 7 surrounded by family. He leaves his longtime companion, Jean M. O’Neil; five siblings, Daniel Purcell, Jean Wilk and her husband, Irwin, Nancy Pojani and her husband, Dennis, Katie Caragian, William Purcell and his Wife, Mary Jane; a sister-in-law, Christine Purcell along with nieces and nephews. A brother, Patrick Purcell and a brother-in-law, Paul Caragian predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of John J. and Adelle M. (Puchek) Purcell.

For those who knew Jack, he was always ready to lend a helping hand for family, friends and neighbors.

Visiting Hours are Tuesday, Sept 13, from 10am to 12pm with a Prayer Service at 12pm in Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. Worcester Ma. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
