Jose Luis Elicier-Encarnacion, 68, died on Saturday, August 10th in UMass Memorial Hospital University Campus after an illness.
He leaves his wife Eneida Pena-Mendoza, his children Cynthia, Jose Luis, Luis Alberto, Jose Joel, Jeshenia, Javier and John, siblings Carlos, Felix, Manuel, Minerva, Milagros & Marisol, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jose was born in Loiza, Puerto Rico son of Gilberto Elicier and Luz Heina Encarnacion. He was a Pastor for many years here in Worcester and also in Puerto Rico. He loved to cook and host parties for his family. He was an avis reader.
A visiting hour will be held on Thursday, August 15th from 10:00-11:00 AM in Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
