JOSE J. GONZÁLEZ

Jose J. González, 67, passed away on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico on August 4th, 1957 and was the son of Rosaura (Dell Valle) and Pablo González.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Maribel Gonzalez; 3 daughters, Sandra Angulo, Carla Deleon and Crystal Gonzalez; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Junior Gonzalez and um Rafael Gonzalez and his sister, Lillian Gonzalez.

For many years, Jose worked in the maintenance department for Curtis Tractor. He had a love for animals, especially birds and roosters. He also had a great appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed visiting tropical places that would remind him of his homeland of Puerto Rico. Jose enjoyed listening to music, his favorite being salsa, which he would dance to with his beloved wife. He was also a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall, where he was able to preach the word of Jehovah in his Worcester Community.

Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of Jose's visiting hours from 9:00am until 11:00am on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A funeral service will begin at 11:00am and burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street.
