José A. Quezada, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in his home on June 9, 2025, at the age of 60, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 9, 1965, in the Dominican Republic, José dedicated many years of his life to working in the cargo department at the airport, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities.
Throughout his life, José maintained a positive outlook and a happy demeanor, even during periods of illness. His unwavering spirit was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He nurtured a passion for sports, especially the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox, finding joy in cheering for his favorite teams. José also held a deep love for travel, creating cherished memories with his family.
José leaves behind his devoted wife of 28 years, Roxana Quezada, and their two daughters, Alba Nidia Quezada and Yanil Quezada. He is also survived by his parents, Dominga Carbajal and Julio Alfonzo Quezada Guaua, and a loving extended family of grandkids, five brothers, three sisters, nieces and nephew.
He was predeceased by one brother, Julio Andres Quezada, creating a profound loss for his family, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of José's life on June 13, 2025, from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM at Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St, Worcester. Following the visitation, a burial service will take place in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St, Worcester.
