Auburn
Joseph T. Dailey, 78, of 9 Melba Ave., died Friday, January 2, in the University Commons, Worcester, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Pauline E. (Halloway) Dailey, a son Daniel P. Dailey of Worcester and a brother Frank Dailey of Las Cruces, NM; three grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Somerville, son of Edward and Catherine (Faircloth) Dailey.
He was a Captain in the Marine Corp. serving in WW II and the Vietnam War.
Mr. Dailey was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 4, Worcester.
The Funeral and Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no callings hours. FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 9 Hammond St., Worcester, is directing arrangements. www.faybrothers.com
