HUDSON-Joseph Peter Fallon, 70, formerly of Sterling, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester after a period of declining health.
He was born and raised in Worcester, son of Edward and Grace (Gilmore) Fallon and graduated from South High School and Clark University. While at Clark, he played the drums in a band and carried that love of music with him throughout his life.
Joe owned and operated Jen-Lie Associates for over 30 years. Joe and Aida spent many years living in Sterling and raising their family, before relocating to Hudson 15 years ago. Joe was a family man and loved spending endless hours playing board games with his daughters, taking his family on vacations to Disney and creating lifelong memories in Kennebunkport, Maine. His love of life was immense, so much so that he embraced and enjoyed every day and every moment as a gift. He shared that feeling with his favorite saying, "The Best Ever", something his friends and family heard throughout his life. He was very quick with a joke, writing a fun-loving poem for someone, or starting a game of poker or pitch whenever he could.
Joe will be dearly missed by his wife Aida Luz (Nieves) Fallon. Joe and Aida would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on September 28th. He also leaves two daughters, Jennifer Torbett and her husband, Stephen of Saunderstown, RI and Julie Litwinowich and her husband, Brian of Hingham, MA. He was the loving "Pampy" to his grandson, Donovan Torbett and his three granddaughters, Fallon Torbett and Quinn and Camryn Litwinowich. He also leaves his brother, Michael Fallon of Worcester, his sister, Mary Lufty of Falmouth and several nephews and nieces. Joe was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Hey.
Relatives and friends are invited to honor and remember Joe while visiting with his family on Thursday, August 22nd from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Fay Brothers Life Celebration Home, 1 West Boylston Street, West Boylston. A prayer service will follow at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's' Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or by visiting www.stjude.org
