WORCESTER- Joseph C. Hannan, 60, of 3 North Ashland St., died Friday, July 24, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after an illness.
He leaves two sons, Michael J. Hannan of Worcester and Jeffrey J. Hannan of Thompson; three daughters, Deborah A. Hannan of Arcadia, Fla., Lisa M. Hannan and Melissa A. Chesnulavich, both of Worcester; a brother, Charles A. Hannan of Worcester; three sisters, Mary H. Query of Connecticut, Jean M. Gould and Elaine M. Donahue, both of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Richard J. Hannan and James B. Hannen, and three sisters, Irene M. Anderson, Joan M. Monast and Ann B. LaPerle, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Charles and Myrtle (Dolomont) Hannan. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Hannan worked for Stop & Shop supermarkets before retiring.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31, in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
