WORCESTER-Josephine R. (Tomasiello) Covello Arell, 93, of Worcester passed away Saturday, April 18 in Saint Vincent Hospital.
Her husband, Victor H. Arell died in 1995. Her first husband, Frank H. Covello was killed in action in Germany in 1945. She leaves a daughter, Donna M. and her husband, George Northover of Madbury, NH; a son, Robert J. Arell of Worcester; two grand-daughters, Pre and Sierra; two step-daughters, Shelia Colorio of Sutton and Lorna Latulippe of Worcester and nieces and nephews. Three siblings, Judge Anthony N. Tomasiello, F. Albert Tomasello and Mary E. Delaney predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Italian immigrants, Donato and Lena(Russo) Tomasiello.
Josephine worked at the former Joe Albrizzio's Market and George's Market. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Golden Years Club at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St. Ann's Church.
The Funeral will be held Thursday, April 23, from CALLAHAN FAY CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:00AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. Entombment will be private in St. John's Mausoleum. A Visiting Hour will be held Wednesday, April 22 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Please omit flowers.
